Professor Adam Benforado was one of six leading criminal justice scholars chosen to present a paper at Vanderbilt Law School’s third annual Criminal Justice Roundtable on Dec. 10-11.
Benforado discussed his article, “Judging the Goring Ox: Examining Intuitions About Punishing Animals to Better Understand the Retributive Motive,” which he is writing with University of Pennsylvania cognitive psychologist Geoff Goodwin. The roundtable, held in Nashville, also featured presentations by law faculty from Columbia, Harvard, George Washington, Florida State University and Hebrew University.
